Dan cooperative was born on the 1st of December 1945 after two companies united their efforts. Since "Dan" steered wisely developing the system of urban transportation. While keeping up with the technological progress. Today "Dan" is the biggest leading operator of public transportation in the Gush Dan region.

NTA - Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd is founded in 1997 and owned by government organization, established to provide solutions to traffic problems in the Dan Region. NTA is in charge of the design and implementation of a Mass Transit System for the Dan Region and leading the mass transit system design stages and manages the process for the construction and operation of the mass transit system network.
