The mission of ITS Israel is to promote the development and implementation activities of intelligent transportation systems in Israel. This requires the organization to deal with the following issues: Understanding of technologies and large scale solutions that can be implemented in transportation environments Paring solutions to requirements Prioritization of requirements Architecture definition in order to find the best possible combinations among the different technological solutions Defining a long term plan for solutions realization  The aims of the meeting series are:  Analyzing different transportation requirements (public transport, traffic management, safety, etc.) Identifying technological concepts Identifying technological, organizational and other barriers Identifying common communication infrastructure Identifying appropriate regulations Formatting a roadmap for the development and implementation of intelligent transportation systems in Israel
